Two poems
**
It’s
amusing when cultured people
speak
of the fragility of relationships
If
not for the rituals and rites
None
could stop their separation
After
a heartbreaking bitter fight
They
hide their scars with jewelry
Treat
their progeny like trophies
And
the adhesive that binds them
are
archaic rules laced in humdrum
they
do not speak to one another
but
speak for each other
they
call it love and care
instead
of a shared despair
take
it easy when the cultured ones speak
had
they known, would future be so bleak?
