A case against moral policing
It surprises me to see the rise in moral police officers after a recent case of a famous bollywood’s son. Keeping the case aside and also the details of it, I am surprised at the forwards memes that target the actor and his parenting. A snip of an interview was doing the rounds as well. While we know the reality and how these cases work, isn’t it surprising to see the Wake of the Online Junta on talking about parenting!
The moral policing continues to question
the region, religion, morals and ethics of the said actor. But who are we to
comment? What does anyone owe us? On one side, while we know dozens of such
cases that happen around us, on the other side, people have turned to moral
policing for all the wrong reasons. Should we not question about the root of
such cases? Should we not question about the misfortune of the times that we live
in that made the said news a national news?
There are important issues to focus on such as illiteracy, lack of empathy and the lack of acceptance of failures in life
and situation! Why waste time in a piece of news that is totally irrelevant and
participate in a conversation that will never add value to us?
