On Positivity

-  By Anupriya

I never imagined in my life I could even start my page and that too on positivity. I have never been a positive person throughout my life, I was the most negative person you would have ever met. However, as time flies, you start to value things and so did I.

It was never on my bucket list but when I started up my podcast I had to start my page and then I choose the name minutesofpositivity. I had always wanted to share my thoughts with people and my point of view on things and always had this thing that I want to build my identity by myself. Minutes of positivity can only give me my identity and it is the only thing that gives me tons of happiness and makes me feel proud of myself.

My journey has been wonderful, full of discovering new things, and on this beautiful journey, I discovered myself. I am the kind of person who likes to talk to different people, who love to know things from 360°.

I have heard a lot of stories from people but majorly I have heard of their struggles and their journey. We always think for some people it's easy to get all the things but it's always not true. Everyone has their battles and their experiences and I always respect that.

I was the kind of person who had no idea about what her future would look like. I was way confused. My parents, my friends, and everyone around me always use to wonder what I will do in my life, what I will achieve because being a below-average person and then choosing a career is a tough thing. I was told that I speak well, my communication skills are quite good I should think about my future in an industry where I can use this skill but I never gave it a thought. Nevertheless, it was when once during the lockdown, I was talking to my two friends and then I asked them about starting up the podcast because I was always wanted to speak but I was very confused. Then I started my podcast by taking my friend's help and that day just changed my life.

Now, I want to build and grow as a podcaster.

I want to be a TEDx speaker, I want to write a book on my journey, there's a lot that I want to share with everyone. I want myself to be on the top 50 podcasters list and I want to curate content that can help people and me in some or another way. I want to leave a legacy behind though it is not that easy I always want to learn new things, I want to grow myself personally and professionally.

I am a firm believer that nothing comes easy in life and you always have to fight for yourself.

Apart from the podcast and video creation I also have a job going on, some freelance projects and I am also doing a course in Digital Marketing at the same time. I have to manage a lot of things alone and there are days when I feel low and things don't work out the way I want them to be but my mother has always taught me to be indifferent in every situation and whatever is yours will come to you in the end. She is the only reason why I am so much organised in my life. She is a very organised person and I have formulated this thing from her.

I have this habit of planning things no matter the consequence I never go unplanned. I want myself to be well prepared for everything that comes my way. I strongly believe that one should be well prepared for everything so that they can reasonably represent themselves. For the podcast I have planned everything there is a proper procedure of doing things and that is why my work seems to be so well established.

Accordingly, be patient enough for things as whatever is yours will eventually come to you and just wait for the right time. Just remember whatever happens it happens for a reason, trust the process, and be optimistic. Never lose hope and believe in yourself, you can do wonders and you're the best version of yourself. Be happy and be proud of yourself you are the best in your way and no one is like you.

  1. You have to go through the journey , to reach somewhere. And it's important to be positive, motivated, and hardworking while that journey and this is something which I have learnt from you Anupriya.
Thankyou for being an amazing and inspiring motivation and a motivator.
