warrior women
/dedicated to the men in our family/
I opine that TV shows, warrior films and war heroes across the world should be captured with subtlety and every generation must know the heroes we all grew up with. While rom-coms and action heroes give us an adrenaline rush, the real heroes who once lived among us, give us a sense of purpose.
I look forward to movies inspired by Subhash Chandra Bose, Indira Gandhi, Chacha Nehru, Rabindranath Tagore, the founding fathers of America esp. James Madison. Since the list would not end, I would like to limit my quest to warrior women through the shows and movies I liked and loved.
In the movie, Bahubali 2, Anushka Shetty is a powerhouse; her grace and her subtle emotions make her a wonder woman. She may not be a demure lady who conveys her emotions through hips that don't lie or her body through sleeveless-tight-fit shirts.
Of course: Prabhas compliments her well.
Interestingly,
Wonder Woman is an epitome of grace and subtlety; her perseverance, her antics and her child-like charm warm the hearts. A generation that associates super-heroes among women with sparsely-clad women, Wonder woman is truly an authentic super hero.
On the contrary, Monica-Rachel (M and R); Lily-Robin (L and R) are classic examples of modern women who find their way through the chaotic disorder of everyday lives with their personal agendas and charm. I love all the characters of friends, however, the camaraderie of M and R stands out. They grow from being control freaks to ordinary women munching on the nuances of life as women.
L and R, on the other hand, are best friends, who stand through thick and thin. Despite their proclivity to romance and relationship in a strange way, they remain loyal and loving to each other and thus the entire group. In the entire series, you see everyone break up or break down but rarely do these women break down (yes, they have their vulnerabilities and the guys become their guardians).
But this post is for every woman who loves you deeply. Take care of her.
